Our Bangalore office is at No 1596, located right behind the State Bank of India in the Kumarswamy Layout area. We are also very close to the Dayanand Sagar Institutions, so there are always a lot of students walking around the neighborhood, which gives the place some good energy. Our office is a bit hidden away, but being near the bank makes it easy for people to find us if they need to. The building we are in is quite sturdy and has a lot of windows that let in the Bangalore breeze. We work for American Express from this location, mostly focusing on the administrative side of things. Inside, the setup is pretty basic. We have our rows of desks, some old cupboards for storage, and a small corner where we keep the water cooler. It isn’t a high-tech corporate hub; it’s more like a neighborhood workplace where we all know the local shopkeepers. We often hear the bells from the temple nearby or the sound of traffic from the main road. The work can be repetitive, but we have a good rhythm going. We don’t use any fancy management speak here. We just check our lists, finish our assignments, and try to make sure everything is in order before we lock up for the night. It’s just a regular, hardworking office in a busy part of the city.
