Alankar Hair Dressers

Our shop is located in Chickpete, right on 10th Cross along R.T. Street. If you know this area, you know how crowded and busy it gets with all the shops and traders. We’ve been here for a long time, right in the middle of all that noise and activity. It’s a small place because space is hard to find in this part of Bangalore. We mainly do haircuts and shaves for the people who work in the market or live nearby. It’s a very old-fashioned kind of setup. We don’t have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans spinning all day. The walls are covered with mirrors that have seen many years of use. People come in to get away from the sun for a bit and get their hair trimmed. It’s always loud outside with people shouting and vehicles moving, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We see all kinds of people here, from shop owners to laborers. Everyone gets the same treatment. We don’t have a fancy sign or anything, just the name on the door. It’s been a family thing for a while now. We open early because the market starts early and people want to look sharp. By the time we close, the streets are finally starting to quiet down. It’s just a simple hair dressing shop in a very busy part of town. Nothing more and nothing less than that. We just do our job every day.
