About Aditya Rain Water Harvesting – Industrial Plant & Machines in Bengaluru
Up here on the second floor in Udayanagara, right across from Cathedral School, is where we keep our stuff for Aditya Rain Water Harvesting. It’s a small space, mostly filled with pipes, filters, and some drawings of tanks. When the monsoon hits, the phone starts ringing non-stop because everyone realizes their roof is leaking or they want to save some of that water. We spend most of our time out on sites, climbing up on roofs and looking at gutters. It’s dirty work and sometimes it’s a bit dangerous when the tiles are slippery. I usually have a couple of guys with me. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just know how to make the water go into the ground instead of flooding the driveway. Sometimes the parts we need take forever to arrive, which is frustrating for everyone. The office is usually a mess of invoices and bits of PVC pipe. People in the neighborhood know us as the guys who deal with the rain. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people just see our truck or hear about us from a neighbor who finally got their well recharged. It's a living. We try to be fair and just get the work done before the next big storm comes through. The stairs up to the office are steep, but that's just how the building is. It is located at number 7.
