Acharyas Fast Food

We set up Acharyas Fast Food in B.S.K 2nd Stage at house number 7. It’s a small joint, mostly geared towards people who need a quick meal without waiting around for a long time. We have a limited menu because we find it’s easier to keep things fresh that way. The kitchen is right there in the front so you can see what’s going on while you wait for your order. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum all day. During the college breaks and after school hours, the place gets packed with students. It gets pretty loud with everyone talking at once. We’ve had the same stove and counters for a long time, and they’ve definitely seen better days, but they work fine for us. We start prepping the dough and chopping the vegetables early in the morning before we open the shutters. It’s just a few of us working here, usually in a bit of a rush to keep up with the orders. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking by or living in the neighborhood. It’s a simple life running a food stall like this. We just focus on getting the salt and spices right and making sure the plates are clean. Sometimes we run out of gas or the water delivery is late, and we just have to manage. It's not always easy, but we've been here for years.
