Accenture

Our office is located out in Chan Aapur, near Anekal in Bangalore. It is a bit of a drive for some of us, but we are used to it by now. The area is different from the middle of the city. It feels a bit more open here. We spend our days at this spot doing what needs to get done. There isn't much to say about the building itself. It is a practical space with desks and some old chairs. We brought some plants in to make it look a bit better, but mostly it is just a place to work. We take our breaks together and usually talk about the traffic or what’s for lunch. The local food spots are okay, nothing special, but they fill you up. Sometimes the cows block the road on the way in, which is just part of the morning routine. We don't really do anything fancy here. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay productive. It’s quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, which is nice. Most of us have been working at this Accenture branch for a couple of years now. We know the routines. It is a straightforward kind of life here in Anekal. We just keep our heads down and do the job. If the rain starts, we have to make sure the windows are shut tight because they leak a little bit sometimes.
