Our branch is located at No. 47 in Prashanth Nagar, which is up in the Sadhnakeri area of Dharwad. If you know 5th Cross, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a very quiet residential part of town, far away from the noise of the main markets. The weather in Dharwad is usually quite pleasant, so we often keep the windows wide open to let the breeze in. The building is a simple two-story structure and we use the ground floor for our Acc Ltd operations. There is a small garden out front with a few hibiscus plants that one of the staff members looks after. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a lot of ledger books, and a computer that’s a bit slow to start up in the mornings. We have a small kitchen area where we brew tea. The local area is famous for its hills and poets, and you can feel that calm vibe even while we are busy with work. We don’t have a lot of walk-in traffic, mostly just people we’ve known for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the porch and wait for it to come back. It’s a relaxed way to run a business office, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s a good, steady place to spend our working hours. We usually finish up by six and walk home through the quiet streets as the lamps come on.
