Acc Cement Company Wadi

This part of the Acc Cement Company is located in the Wadi area, but we operate out of a township in Bangalore. The address is quite a handful—C/O Manik Patil at G 895, 9th Cross in the New Town Ship. It’s near the HAL quarters in Marthahalli. My name is Mallikarjun Shelgi. Dealing with cement in a place as busy as Bangalore means there’s never a quiet moment. The traffic in Marthahalli is always a mess, so we spend a lot of time just managing the logistics of moving things around. Our office is more like a home office in the township. It’s not a polished corporate suite. We have papers everywhere and the phone rings more than I’d like. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to get the work done without making mistakes. The 37 post code area is a mix of old and new, and we fit right in the middle. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on deliveries from Wadi. It’s practical work. We don't try to look bigger than we are. If you’re looking for us, you have to navigate the crosses in the township, but once you’re here, it’s just us doing our daily jobs. We usually keep some extra stock nearby in case someone needs a few bags in a hurry. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us very busy.
