We are set up over at 26 Sudham Nagar, right by Raviwar Point. It’s a busy little area because we’re directly opposite the BMTC bus stand. You can always hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Dealing with boxes and trucks is what fills our time. The office is small, mostly just a place to keep the paperwork and some spare tape. Moving things is hard work and it gets dusty. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading stuff. Since we are so close to the bus stand, it’s easy for people to find us, but the road gets blocked up sometimes. We’ve seen a lot of people moving in and out of the neighborhood over the years. Some days are packed with work and others are a bit slower, giving us time to sit on the steps and watch the crowd. We don’t have any big corporate signs, just the name on the door. It’s a practical business. We use a lot of bubble wrap and old newspapers. The guys are used to the heavy lifting. It’s a bit chaotic in Sudham Nagar sometimes with all the commuters walking past. We just keep our heads down and get the crates moved. It’s honest work and we’ve been at this spot for a good while now. Not much changes around here, except maybe the bus schedules and the weather. We just keep moving things from here to there.
