Aachi Masala

If you walk down 80 Feet Road in Kathriguppe, you’ll find us at 92/9. This part of the city is always full of traffic and noise, but inside our shop, it’s mostly just the sound of packing and the hum of the fans. Aachi Masala isn't some big corporate office with glass walls. It is a practical workspace where we handle piles of spices every single day. We spend most of our mornings unloading supplies and checking that everything is fresh. The smell of turmeric and cumin is stuck in our clothes, but we don't mind it much anymore. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck on the main road, and we have to go out and help them navigate the turn. It’s a lot of physical labor, stacking boxes and making sure every packet is sealed right. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just show up, do the work, and go home. On hot days, the warehouse area gets a bit stuffy, so we take breaks to get tea from the corner stall. It is a simple life and a simple business. We know the other shop owners around here well. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s just how things work on Kathriguppe Main Road. We focus on getting the orders ready for people who need them.
