Our place is called Rajarajashwari Nilaya, and it's located on 9th Main Road in Hanumantappa Layout. We are right in the heart of R T Nagar in Bangalore. Since we are in a residential-style building, it doesn't feel like a cold office at all. It feels more like a home, which I think helps the students relax a little bit. We started A1 Tuitions because we saw that a lot of kids in this area were struggling with their daily lessons and didn't have anyone to help them at home. We take in students from the surrounding streets and schools. It’s mostly just sitting down with them and going through their textbooks line by line. Bangalore is a fast city, and school competition is tough, so we try to provide a bit of a breather here. We don't have a massive staff or anything. It's just a few dedicated people who know their subjects well. We don't use any fancy technology, just good old-fashioned teaching methods that seem to work fine. Sometimes the neighbors see the kids coming and going and stop to chat. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We’ve been doing this for a while and we enjoy seeing the kids finally "get it" after they've been stuck on a problem for an hour. There’s no big secret to what we do, just a lot of patience and regular practice every single day.
