A P Packers & Movers is right at 9 Wilson Garden, directly opposite the police station. Being across from the station makes it very easy to give directions to people who are looking for us for the first time. We spend a lot of our day dealing with boxes, packing tape, and heavy lifting, which is exactly what you would expect from a moving business. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the records and where the crews meet up before heading out to a job. The street can get quite crowded with our trucks and the general traffic in Wilson Garden, but we manage to get things loaded and unloaded anyway. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we’ve been at it long enough that we have a rhythm down. We see a lot of families and people moving their offices, so there’s always a bit of chaos with bubble wrap and crates everywhere. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We don’t spend time on fancy brochures or big marketing campaigns. We just focus on getting the vans packed properly and making sure the items don't get banged up during the drive. Most of our day is spent on the road or at someone’s house, so the office is really just our home base for the paperwork and phone calls. It’s a busy, noisy life here and we like it.
