A B General Store

You can find us right in the middle of the bustle on Avenue Road. Our actual spot is Shop No 5 and 6, near Nawab Hyderali Khan Road on the Kalasipalyam Main Road stretch, between 405 and 409. It sounds complicated, but once you’re in the area, it’s easy enough to spot. Being in such a busy part of the city means there is never a dull moment. We deal with all sorts of general goods. The shop is usually packed from floor to ceiling because we try to have a little bit of everything. It’s a tight fit sometimes when we get several customers at once, but we manage. The shelves are stuffed with things like pulses, soaps, and household items. We spend a lot of our day unloading boxes and helping people find specific items they need for their kitchens. The noise from Kalasipalyam Main Road is constant, with horns honking and people shouting, but it’s the heartbeat of the business. We’ve been running this general store for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the changes, people still need their daily supplies, and that’s why we’re here. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the evening rush dies down. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the regulars who stop by every week to stock up on their groceries.
