3M India Ltd

The 3M India Ltd office is located at Nc-1, Flat No 13 in Vijaya Enclave, right on Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. Since we are in a flat, it feels a lot more like a home than a sterile workplace. We have the kitchen nearby, and the balcony looks out over the busy street below. Bannerghatta Road is famous for its traffic, so we spend a lot of time listening to the horns and watching the buses crawl by. Inside the enclave, though, it’s a bit more peaceful. We’ve turned the living areas into workspace, and it’s a pretty tight-knit group here. We don't have a big HR department or a cafeteria. We just manage things ourselves. Sometimes the neighbors in the other flats come by to chat, or we meet them at the gate. It’s a very Bangalore way of working, being tucked away in a residential complex. The flat is old enough to have some character, and we’ve just filled it with what we need to get our tasks done. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Most of us take turns making coffee, and we usually order in lunch from one of the many places nearby. It’s a very simple, everyday routine for us in this corner of the city.
