The office here in Koramangala is always a bit chaotic. Being on the 100 Ft Inner Ring Road means there is never a quiet moment with all the cars and bikes rushing past outside. Mtr Foods takes up a few floors here, and it is usually a mix of people running up and down the stairs with folders or samples. It isn’t one of those glass buildings you see in the tech parks; it is more of a lived-in space. We spend a lot of time talking about ingredients and checking on what is going out to the shops. The 2nd and 3rd floors are where most of us sit, and if the elevator is acting up, which happens sometimes, we just take the stairs. Lunchtime is the best part of the day because the whole area smells like food from the various places nearby, though we usually have our own stuff. Working in AG Pura means you get used to the Bangalore rain and the way the street floods just a little bit. We have a lot of history, but inside the office, it is just people sitting at desks trying to get the logistics right. It isn’t always perfect. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and the internet gets slow, but we just keep at it. We have been at this location for a good bit now, and most of the local shopkeepers know us by face. We just keep moving.
