Sai Stones

Our place, Sai Stones, is located at 321/1 in the Hind Steell Compound. We are right by Mahaveer Nagar, near the Khadarwadi Cross on Khanapur Road in Udyambag. It’s an industrial part of town, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. We’ve been working out of this compound for quite some time. The yard is usually stacked high with different kinds of stone. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure the cuts are right. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. If you come to see us, you’re basically walking into the workshop. You’ll probably get a bit of dust on your shoes, but that’s just how it is here. We have a few guys who have been with us for years and they really know their way around a piece of granite or marble. We don’t spend much on advertising or big signs. Usually, people just hear about us from their contractors or neighbors who bought from us before. We try to keep things simple. We look at the stone, we talk about what is needed, and we get it loaded up. Sometimes the rain slows us down because the yard gets slippery, but we just wait for it to pass. It’s a regular local business, nothing too complicated. We just focus on the stone and getting the orders out to people who need them.
