Mukund Ispat

Mukund Ispat is located at R.S. No. 58/2 on Jamboti Road. We are right beside the Malu Factory. This is out in Navage, so it’s a bit of a drive from the main town center. Being out here means we have a bit more space, which is good because the materials we handle are quite large. We work with iron mostly. It is heavy, dirty work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. The shed is quite old and the floor is uneven, but it serves our purpose. My uncle started this place a long time ago. I took over and haven't changed much because the old ways still work for us. We don't have a computer in the shop, just a big ledger where we write everything down. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat and a cup of tea. It’s a quiet area compared to the city industrial zones. We don't have any big promises to make. We just take the metal and do what the customer asks us to do with it. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the mud if it has been raining, which happens a lot on Jamboti Road. We just pull them out and keep going. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is honest work and it keeps the family fed. We just stay here and do our job every day.
