Choudhary Steel

Choudhary Steel is located on Haliyal Road in Athani. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We deal with all sorts of steel products, from basic bars to more specific shapes. The shop sits right on the side of the road, so it’s easy for folks to pull over and see what we have in stock. The building isn't much to look at, just a functional space with a corrugated roof that gets loud when it rains. We spend most of our time out on the floor, moving pieces around and loading up vehicles. Athani is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone, so we get a lot of familiar faces coming through. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few helpers. We keep our records in big ledger books and try to stay organized as best we can. Sometimes the yard gets a bit cluttered when a big shipment arrives unexpectedly, but we clear it out eventually. The sun can be quite brutal in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We have a small bench out front where we sit and take breaks. It’s a quiet life, mostly just focused on the metal and the people who need it. We’ve been here for a good while and plan to stay on Haliyal Road for the foreseeable future.
