Matekar Fabricators

Matekar Fabricators is located at No 7/2 in Gajanan Nagar, which is part of the Udyambag area. This is a place where a lot of making and fixing happens. Our workshop is a modest space where we do all our fabrication work. We don't have a large staff or any high-tech offices. It’s just us using our hands and the machines we’ve had for years. The air in Udyambag is often filled with the sound of grinding and welding, and our shop is no different. We spend the day measuring, cutting, and putting things together. It can get pretty messy with all the scraps and offcuts lying around, but we try to clear things out when we can. We’ve been operating in Gajanan Nagar for quite some time, so the locals know us well. We don’t go in for any polished speeches or corporate talk. We just tell people what we can do and then we get to it. Some days are busier than others, but there is always something that needs finishing. We like being in Udyambag because it feels like a place where people actually build things. It’s a practical environment for a shop like ours. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and start working on whatever is on the bench. That’s how we’ve always done it, and it works for us.
