We are based out of Udyambag on Kahanpur Road, where the industrial side of things is pretty active. Our business deals with steel and various commodities, so our space is mostly filled with stock and the sounds of moving metal. It’s a rough and tumble kind of environment, but that’s the nature of the industry we are in. We’ve been at this location for a while and it suits us well because of the transport links. Loading and unloading trucks is a big part of our daily routine. The office isn't very big, mostly just enough room for the desks and some filing cabinets. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the steel gets where it needs to go. It’s a lot of manual coordination and keeping track of market prices. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big shipment arrives. We don't have time for a lot of polished talk. We just tell it like it is. The area around Kahanpur Road is always busy with other businesses doing similar work, so there's a good sense of community among the workers here. We work hard, go home, and then come back to do it all over again the next day. It’s simple, honest work that keeps the industry moving. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. Just a local supplier doing our best with what we have in Udyambag.
