About St Xaviers Public School – Education in Begusarai
We are right by the Harrakh Pani Tanki in Begusarai. That big water tank is the best way to tell people where St Xaviers Public School is. The area is always busy with people and traffic. The school building is right there on the street, so you can hear the horns and the people outside all day long. We have several floors and the stairs are always full of kids running up and down. The classrooms are a bit tight because we have so many students wanting to come here. We have a small courtyard where we do the morning assembly. It’s usually very loud until the principal starts speaking. The teachers have a small room to sit in during their free periods, but they are usually busy grading papers or talking to parents. Begusarai can be quite dusty and the school gets a layer of it every day, so we are always cleaning the benches. We have a lot of kids from the town who walk here or get dropped off by rickshaws. It’s just a normal, busy school life. There’s nothing very special about the building, it’s just brick and mortar, but it’s always full of life. We don't have a lot of extra space for big events, so we just make do with what we have. It’s a practical place for local families and we just try to keep things moving along according to the schedule.
