Ark International School

Our building sits right on Power House Road. It’s a busy street, so you can’t really miss us if you’re driving by. The school has been here for a while, and we’ve seen the road get busier and busier every single year. We started this place because we wanted to have a school that was easy for local parents to get to without traveling too far. The building is quite plain from the outside, but we try to keep the inside lively and welcoming for the kids. We have a mix of younger and older students, so the atmosphere changes depending on which part of the building you’re in. It’s not always perfectly quiet—actually, it’s rarely quiet—but that’s just the nature of a school. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are prepared for their exams. We have some basic play equipment in the back for the younger ones to use during their breaks. The staff are just regular people from around town who enjoy working with children. We don’t have a fancy website or a big front office; we usually just talk to parents in the hallway or by the front door when they come to pick up their children. It’s a practical way of doing things. We just keep our heads down and work on providing a place where kids can learn their lessons. It’s just how we operate here.
