Br Dav Public School

We are right here in the Barauni Refinery Township. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the bigger cities nearby, but we like it that way. The school building has been around for a while now, and you can see that in the hallways. Some of the paint is peeling near the corners, and the desks in the back rooms have plenty of marks from kids over the years. Most mornings start with the sound of the refinery sirens and then the kids start showing up. They come from the nearby houses, some walking and some on cycles. We don't have anything too fancy here. Just the classrooms, the blackboards, and the playground that gets pretty dusty when it hasn't rained in a few weeks. The staff usually gets in early to get things ready. We spend a lot of time just making sure the fans are working and the water coolers are full because it gets quite hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows and keep going with the lessons. It is just a regular school where people work hard. We know most of the families around the township by name because we see them at the market or just walking around. It is not a very big place, so news travels fast. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the kids have what they need for the day.
