If you are driving down NH-31 near Ramzanpur, you will see us right near the Ganga Dairy. That dairy is the main landmark, and sometimes you can smell the milk processing if the wind is blowing the right way. The highway is always loud with trucks and buses going past, so there is a constant hum in the background of everything we do. Our school is a bit of a trek for some people, but being near the main road makes it easier to find. The grounds are pretty large, but they are mostly just open space with some grass that struggles to stay green in the summer. We have a few buildings scattered around. The main one is where we spend most of our time, dealing with paperwork and the daily routine. The dust from the road tends to settle on everything, so we are always wiping down the desks and the windows. It feels like a very practical place. We don’t have fancy statues or manicured gardens, just some sturdy walls and a place for the kids to sit. The staff usually gathers near the entrance in the mornings to watch the buses pull in. We talk about the traffic and the weather mostly. It is a long day for everyone, but we just get on with it. Ramzanpur is a growing area, but it still feels like the edge of the city.
