Itec Consultancy operates out of a small place at 17/A Netajee Nagar. We are located in Piyali Town, which falls under the Baruipur post office area in the South 24 Parganas district. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city of Kolkata, but we like it here. The atmosphere is a lot quieter than the big metro areas. We handle various consulting tasks for people in the local community and nearby towns. The office is simple and doesn't have much in the way of decoration. We have some wooden chairs and a couple of tables where we do our thinking and writing. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow because of the location, but we manage to get the work done. People around Baruipur know us as the local guys who can help with technical questions or business forms. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just the name on the door and our address in Netajee Nagar. Working in South 24 Parganas means dealing with the weather and the local pace of life, which is fine by us. We spend our days mostly answering emails or talking to visitors who drop by without an appointment. It’s a relaxed way to run a business. We focus on the task at hand and don't worry too much about looking like a big corporation. There is no polish here, just honest work being done every day.
