I’m Avijit Roy and I’m based out of Narendrapur in Kolkata, specifically in the 103 area. I’ve been around here for quite a while now. If people need to find me, they usually just call my mobile, 9903076129, or come by the neighborhood. Narendrapur is a bit further out from the main city center of Kolkata, which I actually prefer because it’s a little less chaotic. My name, Avijitroy, is what people know me by around these parts. I don’t have a big storefront or a bunch of signs. I mostly just work from where I am. It’s a very local way of doing things, I guess. I handle my own schedule and take care of whatever comes up during the day. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, but you just deal with it as it happens. I’ve lived in West Bengal my whole life, so I’m used to how things work here. There’s no big secret to what I do. I just show up and put in the hours. My phone is usually nearby if someone has a question about a project. I don’t use any of that fancy business talk. I just speak plainly and tell people how it is. Being in Narendrapur gives me the space I need to think and get things done without too much distraction. It’s just me and my work at the end of the day. It’s a quiet life but I stay busy enough to keep moving.
