J P Steel Co. is on the first floor of the Bhagawati Kanta Complex. We are right in the Vedvyas area. If you look for the Bhagwati Weigh Bridge, we are very close to that. It’s a busy spot with a lot of heavy vehicles passing through all the time. Being near the weigh bridge means we see a lot of action every day. Our office isn't very large. It’s just enough room for a few desks and some chairs for when people visit. We deal with steel, so things can be heavy and loud. We aren't fancy people. We wear work clothes and don't mind getting a bit of grease on us. Most of our customers are locals or drivers passing through the area. We don't spend money on big ads or shiny websites. We just rely on people knowing where we are. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor feel a bit steep after a long day of work. We have been here for a good number of years now. We know the steel business well enough. It’s about being there when someone needs a load or a quote for a job. We don't have a mission statement. We just want to finish the day's work and come back tomorrow to do it again. It is a simple life and we are totally okay with that. There is no corporate ladder here. We are just a team of people getting things done. It's honest and it's what we know.
