Baba Steels

Baba Steels is situated right on NH-6. Our main landmark is the Gurudwara Chowk, which is a place most people around here know well. Being on the highway means there is never a quiet moment. We see all sorts of vehicles passing by from dawn till dusk. We focus on steel, and that keeps us pretty occupied. The location is convenient for moving goods, even if the noise of the trucks on NH-6 can get a bit loud during the peak hours. We aren’t a huge corporation with lots of levels. We are just Baba Steels, working out of our spot near the Chowk. It’s a very practical environment. The yard is usually full of materials, and we spend a lot of time outside checking on things. It can get quite dusty because of the highway traffic, but you get used to that after a few weeks. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get the steel where it needs to go. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy on the NH-6, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s a basic operation. We show up, we work with the steel, and we deal with whoever comes through the gate. Being near Gurudwara Chowk gives us a sense of place. We are just a regular part of the roadside landscape.
