We are over here in Muhammadpur, right in Baheri. It’s mostly just us and the local farmers trying to get things organized. Kiran Pal’s place is where we handle the paperwork and meetings. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. We started this because things were getting hard for people growing crops around here. You know how it is, the prices change and it’s tough to manage alone. So we put our names together as Midhailal Farmer Producer Company Limited. Mostly we just talk about seeds, the weather, and how to move the produce without losing money. Some days are busier than others, especially when harvest time comes around. We don't have a big marketing team. It is just a bunch of neighbors working out of the village. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting on the porch talking. It’s honest work. Sometimes the rain messes things up, or the transport doesn't show up on time, but we keep going. If you come by Baheri, you’ll find us easily enough. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making sure our small group of farmers gets a fair deal. It’s a lot of manual work and checking bags. We just do what needs doing every day to keep the farms running and the families fed. It’s quiet out here, but there is always something to fix or a crop to check on.
