Tanda Kisan Unnati Farmer Producer Company Limited

We started this group right here in Tanda, Saddopur to get the local farming community together. It’s mostly just us folks from Jalalpur and nearby parts of Ambedkar Nagar working on things. Tanda Kisan Unnati Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of a small place at 196 Tanda. We spend our days dealing with the crops and the soil, trying to figure out the best way to move our produce without losing money. Sometimes the weather is bad or the market is slow, but we keep at it because we have to. Most of the people around here know us because we've lived in this area for years and years. There isn't much fancy equipment or big offices. Just a group of farmers sitting down and talking about seeds or fertilizers. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. It’s just us doing the daily work in the fields and keeping the records at our office in Mubarakpur. It gets very busy during the harvest season. Everyone in the family usually pitches in. We wanted to make sure the farmers in our neighborhood had a way to sell what they grow without too much trouble from middle men. It's been a learning process for all of us since we began this. Some days are harder than others, especially when the rain doesn't come on time. But we live here, we work here, and this is what we do.
