Guddu Hair Drasser

Guddu Hair Drasser is on Station Road in Faridpur, Bareilly. We are located right near the District Hospital. The name on my board has been there for a long time. Because we are near the railway station and the hospital, there is a lot of movement on this street. My shop is a small room with two chairs and a bench for waiting. It is a very basic setup for haircuts and shaves. I have been a hair dresser in this spot for years. The walls are painted a simple color and I have a few pictures of gods near the mirror. It is often dusty because of the busy road, so I have to wipe the chairs down many times a day. A lot of people who come to the hospital or the station stop by for a quick trim. I use a manual clipper sometimes and always a sharp razor for the neck. Faridpur is a small town, so life moves at its own pace here. I do not have any assistants. I do everything myself. Sometimes the power goes out, but I have a big window that lets in enough light to work. People like to talk about their families and the local news while I cut their hair. It is a small business that supports my family. I keep my tools in a wooden box and stay open until it gets dark.
