Ahamad Hair Drasser

If you go to the Main Chauraha in Aliganj, you will find us right there. We are in the Bisharatgang area of Bareilly. Ahamad Hair Drasser has been a part of this crossing for a long time. It’s a very public spot, so we see everything that happens at the intersection. The shop is small and has that old-school barber feel. We have the usual chairs, some sharp razors, and a few different types of combs. It’s mostly men coming in for a quick trim or a shave before they head off to work or after they finish their day. The walls have some old posters on them, and the radio is usually playing some local stations. It’s not a quiet place because of all the traffic outside at the chauraha, but that’s just how it is in this part of Bareilly. We don't use any fancy booking systems. You just show up, wait your turn on the wooden bench, and we get to work. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so I know most of the families in Aliganj. We talk about the crops, the local politics, or just the daily grind. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we take pride in doing a steady job.
