Our office is at 54 Chaitanya Avenue here in Durgapur, West Bengal. It’s a fairly easy spot to find once you get onto the avenue. The building is just a standard one, nothing that really stands out from the street, but it serves us well. We’ve been running things for Ibm India Pvt Ltd from this location for some time now. Inside, it’s mostly just us working at our desks. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and we’re there. The internet can be a bit patchy when the weather gets bad, which is quite common around here during the rainy season. We just take it in stride and do what we can. There’s a small shop nearby where we usually go to get our afternoon tea and snacks. It’s a quiet enough area, which is good because it helps us stay focused on the work at hand. We don’t use any fancy corporate talk or have long, boring meetings. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and go home. The desks are often a bit messy with notes and files, but that’s just how we work. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We like being in Durgapur because it’s not as chaotic as some of the bigger cities, though it still has everything we need. This is our little corner of the world. We keep it simple.
