Our office for Cmie is located at Quarters Number E 17 2 on Road Number 11. It is in the New Town area of Asansol, specifically over in the Chotodighari section. Being in the Burdwan district means we are a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually nice most of the time. The pin code is 713326 if you are trying to find us. It is not a big corporate building or anything like that. It is a quarter, so it feels more like a house than a typical workplace. We have a few rooms set up with our desks and equipment. West Bengal weather can be quite humid, especially during the monsoon season, so the walls sometimes get a bit damp. We just deal with it as it comes. There is a lot of green around the area and the neighbors usually recognize us. Most of the people working here have lived in Asansol their whole lives. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby area. If someone stops by, they usually just knock on the door and one of us goes out to see what they need. We spend a lot of time sitting at our desks and talking through what needs to happen next. It is a simple operation. We do not have big meetings with slides. We just talk across the room. It is honest work and we like being here.
