We have our main setup at 8 Habsiguda in Hyderabad, but we also spend time dealing with things over at Burdwan in West Bengal, near the 713325 area. It is a bit of a mix, having stuff going on in two different states. Access Livelihoods Consulting Pvt Ltd is just a group of us who work on livelihood projects. The Hyderabad office is usually buzzing because the city is so active, while the Burdwan side of things feels a bit different. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sending emails between the two locations to keep everything straight. It’s not always easy managing the distance, and sometimes things get a bit messy with all the paperwork coming from different places. The desks are usually covered in files and coffee mugs. We don't have any corporate slogans or big fancy lobbies. It’s mostly just us sitting in our chairs, looking at spreadsheets and trying to make sense of the project goals. Some days are longer than others, especially when we have to travel between the sites or deal with local issues in West Bengal. We just take it one day at a time. The office in Habsiguda is where most of the planning happens, but the real work is spread out. It’s a lot of coordination and just trying to keep the office running as smoothly as we can manage.
