Down here on Birla Road, things stay pretty steady. We are located in Arabinda Nagar, right in the Kulti area. If you know where the post office is, we aren't too far from there. The shop is small, but it serves the folks around Burdwan well enough. We handle mobile service stuff, mostly helping people who can't get their phones to work right or need a recharge. It’s dusty on some days because of the road traffic outside, but we keep a fan going to stay cool. People stop by on their way home from work. Sometimes we just sit on the bench outside and chat about the weather or how the local teams are doing. It isn't a high-tech setup with screens everywhere. Just a couple of desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of logbooks. Panchanan Das is the name most people know us by around here. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The street gets narrow during the market hours, so parking a bike can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. We see the same faces every week. It’s a quiet life in this part of West Bengal. We just do our bit and go home when the sun sets. Nothing fancy about it at all. It gets loud when the trucks pass by, but we don't mind much. It's just part of the day-to-day work we do here.
