Hdbfs

Hdbfs is located out in the village of Lalganj, near Dhakuria in the Burdwan district. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city of Kolkata, but we like the quiet of being out here. Our post office is Lalganj and the pin is 713359. The office is small and simple, as you might expect for a place in a village area. We don’t have fancy technology or modern glass walls. It’s just a solid building where we keep our records and do our work. Most of the people working here are from around the area and know the neighbors. We know the local roads and the people in the community well. Our days are mostly spent dealing with the local needs and making sure the administrative side of things is handled properly. It can be a bit slower-paced than the city, but that doesn't mean we aren't busy. There is always something that needs sorting out or a form that needs to be filled in by hand. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just exist here to do the job we were set up to do. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy or the power goes out, but we manage. We just take things one day at a time and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by the office. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours and it works for what we need to get done. We close up when the sun goes down and head home.
