We are located out in Jamalpur, in a place called Krishnachandrapur. It is in the Burdwan district. Most days here at Emcons Automation Pvt Ltd are pretty much the same. We get in early before the sun gets too hot. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we handle the automation side of things. There is a post office nearby and the police station isn't far either. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage to get the emails out. It is a quiet area mostly. You hear the birds and the occasional tractor going by. We started this because we knew the technical side of things well enough to make a living at it. Most of the staff comes from nearby villages. We eat lunch together usually. There is a small tea stall down the road where we go if we need a break from the screens. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us doing the work that comes in. Sometimes there are challenges with the power supply, so we have to plan around that.
