Sital Salons

You can find Sital Salons out in Barasat on the Napara Rashbihari School Road. Being near the school means we see a lot of families and kids coming through. It is a pretty straightforward shop. We have the basic chairs and the usual tools spread out on the counters. It isn't a place where you'll find anything too modern or high-end. We just do the basic stuff that people need. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the rains, and we often have to sweep the floor twice as much then. It’s a local spot where neighbors run into each other and talk about what’s happening in the area. We have been here long enough that we don’t really need a big sign for people to know who we are. Some days it is quiet and you can just hear the birds or the school bell, and other days it is a bit of a madhouse with people lined up. We just take it as it comes. There’s no big corporation behind us, just a few of us working the chairs. We keep the water running and the lights on, and we wait for the next person to walk through the door. It is a humble place, and that’s how we like it. We focus on getting the job done so people can get back to their day. It’s been this way for years now, and the neighbors seem to appreciate it.
