Kailasi Hair Saloon

I’ve been working at Kailasi Hair Saloon for a while now. We’re over in Narayanpur, right in the Rajarhat Gopalpur area of Kolkata. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, but we keep it clean for everyone who comes in. People from the neighborhood come by when they need a quick trim or if their hair is just getting too long and messy. Sometimes it gets a bit busy on Sunday mornings when everyone is off work, but usually, you can just walk in and wait a few minutes for a chair to open up. I like talking to the regulars who live around here and hearing about their families. We just do regular haircuts and shaves, mostly. It’s a simple setup with just the basics. My chair is right near the front door so I can see who’s coming down the street throughout the day. It’s nice being part of this specific part of the city. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise when it is on high, but nobody really seems to mind it. We’ve got a couple of mirrors and the basic tools we need to get the job done. If you’re looking for a place that doesn't make a big fuss about things, this is where we are. It’s easy to find us once you’re in the Narayanpur area. I usually open up early because the older men like to come by before the sun gets too hot.
