Sarkar Saloon

Sarkar Saloon is just a small place we run here on Abdalpur Road. It is right in the Abdalpur area of Kolkata, not far from the Humaipur crossing and Mishanget. If you are walking down the main road, you will probably see us. We have been here for a good amount of time now. It is mostly just us doing haircuts, trims, and shaves for the people who live around here. We do not have anything too fancy inside, just the basic chairs and mirrors you would expect in a local shop. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Sunday mornings when everyone wants to look decent for the week ahead, so there might be a short wait. We try to keep things simple. Most of our regulars are folks from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We know most of them by name. It is a loud street sometimes with all the traffic going towards the city, but inside we just focus on the work. We are not trying to be one of those high-end places you see in the malls. This is just a practical spot for a quick cut. We open early most days and stay until the evening. If you are near the Humaipur side of Abdalpur, you can just stop by. There is no need for anything formal. We just do our jobs and chat with the locals. It is a basic setup but it works for what people need.
