Sarkar Salon

Sarkar Salon is located on Krishna Nagar Road. You can find us near the Mayna Hat area, quite close to Sasodip Hospital. It is a busy spot because of the hospital and the local market. We have been running this shop for quite some time now. It is a ground floor space with a simple wooden door. Inside, we have four chairs and large mirrors. The lighting is just normal tube lights. We do not have any fancy decor. Most of our work is haircuts for men and kids. We also do shaves every day. Because we are near the hospital, sometimes we get people who are visiting or working there. But mostly it is the local residents from the nearby houses. We know many of them by name. We talk about the local news or what is being sold at Mayna Hat that day. It is a very relaxed place. We don't have any corporate training. We just learned the trade from our elders. The shop stays open seven days a week. We take a break in the afternoon when it is very hot. My staff and I keep the tools clean and ready. We don't use any expensive shampoos or gels. It is just a basic service for people who want to look neat. Krishna Nagar Road is always full of life, and we are glad to be a small part of it. It’s just a normal salon for normal folks.
