Rana Salon

Rana Salon is on the ground floor of a building on Vivekananda Apally Road. We are in the Rajarhat Gopalpur area, specifically Kolkata 700136. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the Simplex Building, which is a big landmark around here. It’s a straightforward salon where we focus on basic hair needs for the people who live in the new apartment blocks and the older houses nearby. The shop is easy to access since it’s on the ground floor. We’ve got a couple of chairs and some mirrors that we keep as clean as we can. It’s not a luxury place, just a decent spot to get a trim or a shave. We’ve been here since the neighborhood started growing more. There are usually a few people hanging around chatting while they wait their turn. The atmosphere is pretty informal. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. Just regular clothes for a regular day of work. The traffic on Vivekananda Apally Road can be noisy, but we usually have the radio on to drown it out a bit. We don't have a website or an online booking system. You just show up and we see you when we can. It’s worked for us so far.
