Popular Cutting Saloon

Our shop is right on Jessore Road, over in the Madhyamgram area near Sreenagar. If you know that stretch of road, you know it stays pretty busy with traffic and people moving around all the time. We have been at 34 Jessore Road for quite a bit now. It is a basic setup, just a few chairs and the usual tools we need for hair cutting. I wouldn't say there is anything special about the decor, we just have the things that work. Most of our customers are locals from around Madhyamgram who have been coming to us for years. You get to know people’s names and how they like their hair done after a while. It makes the day go by faster when you can have a bit of a chat while working. We handle shaves and simple haircuts, mostly for men and kids in the neighborhood. The shop stays open until the evening, and we see all sorts of people coming through. It can get a bit dusty with the road right there, but that is just how it is in this part of Kolkata. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It is just a regular place to get a haircut without any fuss. No one is putting on an act here, we just work and go home to our families when the sun goes down. It is not complicated.
