New Janta Gents Parlour

New Janta Gents Parlour is located on the ground floor on Vivekananda Road in Kolkata. We are very close to the Vivekananda Club. If you are walking down the road, you can easily spot our entrance. The shop has been around for a while. It is a simple place where men come to get their hair cut. We do not have any fancy lights or soft music playing. Usually, it is just the sound of the scissors and people talking. We have four chairs in a row. The mirrors are large and cover the whole wall. It is a busy road, so there is always the sound of horns and buses outside. We open quite early because many people like to come before they go to their offices. Our staff has been with us for a long time. We know how most of our regulars like their hair done. It is a very normal neighborhood shop. We do shaves and beard trims too. On the weekends, it gets very crowded. You might have to wait for half an hour. We have some old plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We do not have air conditioning, but we have two big wall fans that work well. The area around the club is always lively. We like being part of this community. It is not a polished salon like you see in the malls. It is just a place for regular guys to get a decent haircut.
