Modern Hair Cutting Saloon

Over here at Moyna Hut in the Noapara area, things move a bit slower than in the main city. Modern Hair Cutting Saloon is located on Madhabpur Road. Despite the name "Modern," we are actually a very traditional kind of place. We’ve been in Barasat for quite some time now. The shop is small, just enough room for a few people to sit and wait. We handle all the local men and boys who need their hair sorted out. It’s a simple setup with mirrors, scissors, and combs. Nothing fancy. My father might have been the one to pick the name years ago. We don't do those crazy styles you see on TV, just normal haircuts that look good for school or the office. The road outside can get a bit dusty, but we try to keep the shop floor swept. Usually, we listen to the radio or just talk about the local news while we work. It’s a good way to stay connected to everyone in the neighborhood. We know who’s getting married and who’s moving away. It’s more than just a job; it’s where we spend our whole day. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. You just look for the shop near the hut. We open every day except for maybe some holidays. If you're walking down Madhabpur Road, you'll likely see us there, just doing our thing. It works for us.
