Das Hair Cutting Saloon

We've been here on Netaji Subhas Road in Hridaypur for a while now. It's just a small place, nothing fancy, but we keep the chairs clean and the scissors sharp. People around here know where we are. Usually, it's just the usual crowd coming in for a trim or a quick shave before work. We don't have a big waiting area or anything, just a few stools. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Sunday mornings when everyone decides to come at once, but we manage. Most of the guys just sit and chat while they wait their turn. We try to keep the fans running since it gets pretty hot in Kolkata. It’s a simple setup. We don't do those modern styles you see in magazines much, mostly just regular cuts that people ask for. You can find us right on the main road, not far from the usual landmarks. My father started this long ago, and we just kept it going. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We open early most days because that's when the office goers need us. If you're walking down Netaji Subhas Road, you'll see the blue door. That's us. No need to call ahead, just walk in and if a chair is free, you're next. We handle kids too, even the ones who can't sit still for five minutes.
