Classic Hair Cutting

Classic Hair Cutting is our shop located at Ramkrishna Pally on Taki Road. If you know where Bidhan Market is, we are right opposite that, which makes us very easy to find. Being on Taki Road means there is a lot of dust and noise from the buses and trucks, but it also means we get a lot of walk-in customers. The 700124 area is always buzzing with activity. Inside the shop, we have a couple of stations set up. It’s a pretty basic arrangement with mirrors and a few shelves for our sprays and powders. We don't have any fancy decor or anything like that. It’s just a place to get your hair cut and go about your day. I spend my time from morning till night standing on my feet, working the scissors. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so I’m always sweeping. It’s a good spot because people coming from the market often realize they need a haircut and just pop in. We try to keep the prices fair because we know our customers are working people. There’s a small TV in the corner that we keep on for the news or some music. It helps pass the time when it’s a bit slow. We are just a regular part of the market life here, doing what we know how to do best.
