Chakraborty Hair Cutting

Chakraborty Hair Cutting is a small place tucked away on Sir Ramesh Mitra Road in the Narayanpur area of Gopalpur. This shop has been in our family for a bit, and we just keep things moving day by day. We do not do anything too complicated, just regular hair cutting for whoever walks through the door from the local streets. Gopalpur is a very busy spot and we see a lot of people coming and going all the time. Sometimes the shop feels a little cramped when there are three or four people waiting, but we have some wooden benches for them to sit on. The mirrors we use are quite old, but they still show everything they need to. We use local towels and standard shampoos that you would find in any house. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance of the shop. We have watched many of the kids around here grow up. One year they are getting their first haircut and crying in the chair, and then suddenly they are grown men coming in for a shave before their office starts. We keep the shop open late most nights because that is when the workers get back from the city. It can get tiring after a long day, but being busy is better than being empty. We just stay here, cutting hair and listening to the neighborhood gossip.
