Mitra Bricks Field

Mitra Bricks Field is located out in Indus, right by the post and police station area. It’s a wide-open space where we make and store our bricks. Working in Indus is good because there’s enough room for everything we need to do. It’s a brick field, so don’t expect anything fancy when you visit. There’s a lot of mud, clay, and heat, but that’s how bricks are made. We’ve been doing this for a long time. Our days start very early, usually before the sun is even fully up, to get a head start on the work. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve got a good group of people who know what they’re doing. We don't spend much time in an office; most of our time is spent out in the field. The location near the P.S. makes it easy for people to give directions to our place. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny logo. We just have the bricks and the land. People from around Indus and the neighboring areas know where to find us. It’s a simple operation, really. We focus on the process and making sure things are moving along. Some seasons are busier than others, especially when the weather is dry. We just take it day by day and keep the kiln going. That is really all there is to our story here.
