Sainik Public School

You can find us at Nand Vihar, right on the Sikandra Road in Jamui. It’s a busy enough road, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or school. We’ve been operating here for some time now. The school is not huge, but we have enough space for the local kids to come and learn. It’s a simple setup really. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of a playground. The dust from the road sometimes comes inside, so we are always cleaning the desks. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or high-tech gadgets. It’s mostly just chalk and talk here. The teachers are mostly local people from Jamui or nearby towns. We know most of the parents by their first names because we see them every day at the gate. It’s a bit of a routine. Every morning we start with the same assembly. Some days are harder than others when the weather is too hot or it rains too much. We don’t spend money on big posters or radio ads. People just know where we are. It’s a straightforward place. We just want the kids to show up on time and do their lessons. There is no corporate vibe here at all. We are just a local school trying to do our bit on Sikandra Road. It feels like a small family most of the time.
